Iconic Breakfast
Start the Day at Model Bakery
Model Bakery is a must-stop for the Oprah-approved English muffins. The hype is real, and the breakfast sandwiches are the ultimate way to start your day!
For close to 90 years, The Model Bakery has been part of the Napa Valley culinary scene, providing discerning and hungry residents and valley visitors with the best breads, pastries, and coffee at the original location on Main Street in St. Helena. Karen Mitchell, once a successful caterer in Napa Valley, has been the proprietor of Model Bakery for nearly 30 years.
Today’s Model Bakery specializes in artisan breads made with organic stone-ground flours and the highest quality ingredients, as well as a complete range of pastry products. Karen’s daughter, Sarah, works with her mother as managing partner of the bakery, and both are dedicated to authentic, artisan baking traditions.
Savoring Excellence
Wine Tasting at St. Supéry Estate Vineyards & Winery
St. Supéry lives rent-free in our minds because of the incredible Taste of the Estate Food and Wine pairing. The totally immersive experience focused on Napa Valley seasonality and was a foodie dream come true.
Taste of the Estate, Wine & Food Pairing | $125. We enjoyed a seated tasting of four estate wines each paired with a seasonally inspired dish focused on farm-to-table produce from their Estate Culinary Garden and Dollarhide Estate Ranch.
Guests are invited to a communal Chef’s Table to gain insight into the winery’s sustainable winemaking practices, pairing techniques, and more. This immersive, convivial wine and food experience takes about 90 minutes.
Culinary Hidden Gem
Lunch at Goose & Gander
The Goose & Gander restaurant is the definition of “if you know, you know” in Napa Valley. Rustic feels and phenomenal food. And you cannot leave without sipping a Cucumber Collins in the basement speakeasy bar.
Goose & Gander is a wine country public house, a gathering place for locals and visitors to celebrate Napa Valley's abundant bounty.
The seasonally driven menu perfectly complements Scott Beattie’s retro fresh libations or a bottle of wine from their unique and exciting wine list.
Indulgent Delights
Sweets Shop Stop at Woodhouse Chocolate
To satisfy our sweet tooth, we stopped by the expert chocolatiers at Woodhouse Chocolate and indulged in the best chocolate peanut butter cups, period. Every morsel of their elegant chocolates was like a work of art.
Woodhouse Chocolate represents the efforts of three generations of the Anderson/Wood family. John and Tracy Anderson and their daughters Christina and Caroline run the kitchen and company together. Their mission is to create the finest chocolates and confections using local, ethically sourced, and sustainable ingredients whenever possible. Produced in the European style, Woodhouse chocolates are handcrafted in a historic 1890s stone and brick building on St. Helena’s Main Street in the heart of Napa Valley. The idea of opening a chocolate shop came to Tracy and John during a life-changing semester they spent together in Europe as college students, where they discovered the edible jewels made by small-town chocolatiers.
Scenic Sips

We had an unbeatable experience traveling to the summit and drinking superb wines at Sterling Vineyards. From the moment we stepped aboard the air gondola to the incredible view from their terrace, this is top-tier Napa Valley.
The Founder's Experience. Reservations are required, and guests must be 21+. At the peak of the hill in the newly redesigned Founder’s Room, we enjoyed their premier tasting experience at Sterling Vineyards.
This 90-minute experience includes a world-class food and wine pairing with their most coveted winery-exclusive wines. $125 Per Person.
Relaxed Dining
Alfresco Dinner at House of Better
The House of Better is a chill restaurant perfect for dining while grazing on some healthy-ish southwestern-inspired fare. It was great kicking back, chowing down on tacos, and sipping on some delicious drinks in Calistoga.
While at Dr. Wilkinson's, we visited House of Better. There’s a place where wellness meets happiness, where health food meets comfort food, and where the scent of green chiles roasting meets Napa Valley's world-renowned wines. Driven by Trevor Logan, of San Francisco's Green Chile Kitchen, House of Better is a fresh take on wellness. House of Better is an amalgam of Trevor Logan’s rustic, Southwest-inspired Green Chile Kitchen and his pop-up, Booster Foods Nutrition Kitchen. Elevated counter service and a playful, backyard experience are anchored by a wood-fired oven and New Mexican chile roaster.
