We recently wrote about best happy hours in up-valley restaurants, but there are plenty to enjoy without leaving downtown Napa. Grab a cocktail, a brew, or a glass of wine and before you know it, you’ve had dinner for not much green. Here are some of our favorites.

Ribs & Slaw at Bounty Hunter

Bounty Hunter Wine Bar. Two-for-one wines by the glass and draft beers, $7 for rib-and-slaw appetizer or $12 sampler plate. Monday through Friday 3 to 6 pm.

Basalt. Beers $5, wines $9, cocktails $9. Small bites, $6 each, include beer-battered fish tacos, corned beef Reuben sandwich, and chicken wings. Weekdays 5 pm to 6:30 pm, weekends 2:30 to 6 pm.

TORC. Selected wines $6, beers $4 and $5. Bites, all $5, include a quesadilla with Schmitz Ranch short rib, deviled eggs with pickled onion and bacon, and sweet-potato pakora with yogurt truffle dip. 5 to 6:30 pm Wednesday through Monday (closed Tuesday).

Carpe Diem Cocktails

Carpe Diem. Draft beers $2 off, wines and sparkling wines $7. Bar snacks are $1.50 to $14, including truffle popcorn or harissa fries, wild mushroom arancini, and wild mushroom flatbread. Daily 4 to 6 pm.

Eiko’s. Beers from $3 to $5, wines and well drinks $6. Bar bites ($5 to $9) include tempura green bean “healthy fries,” California roll, spare ribs, and Miyagi oysters. Monday through Friday 4 to 6 pm.

‘La Facile’ at Ca’Momi

Ca’ Momi. House-brewed organic beers $5, house wines $5. Cicchetti (Venetian-style snacks) are $5, including topinanbur fritti (crispy sunchoke chips), polpette di coda (crispy oxtail meatballs), and arancini (organic carnaroli rice balls). Tuesday-Sunday from 5-7pm and late night on Friday & Saturday from 9 pm until bedtime!

Napkins Bar & Grill. All draft beers $4, cocktails $6 to $8, selected wines $7. Small bites ($4 to $12) include grilled shrimp sliders, crispy calamari, and mac and cheese. Daily from 3 to 6 pm.

Andaz Mercantile Terrace. Full menu 25% off from 5 to 7 pm Monday - Friday and Sunday 6 p.m.- 10 p.m., including fish and chips, warm pretzel with grain mustard, or cheesy bar fries.

Azzurro Pizzeria. Features a selected red, white, and sparkling wine as well as beer. Happy Hour menu offers $3 off all pizzas. Monday thru Thursday 3 to 6 pm.

Margherita Pizza at Azzurro

Norman Rose Tavern. Food includes chicken wings ($9), onion rings ($5) and sliders ($4.50) as well as $2 off all beers on draft and all wines by the glass. Monday through Friday 3 to 6 pm.

Gran Electrica. Features margaritas and cervezas, $7 and $5, and $9 wine. Tacos, two per order for $6, including Lengua, Coliflor al Pastor (crispy cauliflower), and Carnitas. Tuesday through Friday 5 to 6:30 pm at the bar only.
