A multi-day wine and culinary preview event designed for tastemakers, cultural curators, and luxury travelers celebrating timeless Napa Valley with a modern energy
WHAT:
This fall, Visit Napa Valley will debut The Napa Valley Standard, an exclusive four-day culinary preview produced by a21, the team behind some of the country’s top culinary festivals and art fairs. Taking place November 12–15, 2025, the high-touch preview is staged as a foretaste of the event’s formal 2026 inception, honoring Napa Valley’s timeless heritage while shaping the future of wine, collecting, and culinary journey.
Designed for the modern diner, discerning wine lover, cultural tastemaker, and conscious traveler, The Napa Valley Standard will spotlight Napa Valley’s craftsmanship and creativity through immersive hospitality experiences – from intimate multi-course dinners and progressive wine lunches to a curated walk-around tasting preview, and coveted vintage verticals.
Programming will unfold across five of Napa Valley’s most iconic properties – Auberge du Soleil, Carneros Resort and Spa, Four Seasons Napa Valley, Meadowood Napa Valley, and Silverado Resort – where guests may both dine and stay, extending the weekend into a complete Napa Valley journey. Anchoring the program, both in 2025 and its evolution in 2026, is a focus on the future of winemaking with unparalleled seminars, rare vintage sampling, and one-of-a-kind collaborations between Napa Valley’s world-class talent: winemakers, sommeliers, chefs, and hospitality leaders. 2025 Programming includes:

WHY:
“We are excited to launch The Napa Valley Standard this year as a means to showcase the outstanding community of chefs, winemakers and hospitality leaders who represent the culture and progress of Napa Valley,” said Linsey Gallagher, President & CEO of Visit Napa Valley. “Our goal in crafting these one-of-a-kind experiences is to champion the Valley’s world-class talent, support the region and lay the framework towards the future of tourism in Napa Valley in the most exciting ways possible.”
Wine culture is evolving. Collectors are younger, more global, and value access, authenticity, and innovation as much as tradition. The Napa Valley Standard is built for this moment – a bold platform that both respects Napa Valley’s roots and ushers in a new era of wine and hospitality. By blending exceptional craftsmanship with modern cultural relevance, The Napa Valley Standard positions Napa Valley as not just the pinnacle of food and wine, but as a leader in shaping the future of global culinary and wine culture.
LOOKING AHEAD:
In 2026, The Napa Valley Standard will expand into a flagship, large-scale festival that positions Napa Valley as the most prestigious yet modern food and wine destination in the country. Beyond world-class dinners, walk-around tastings, and celebratory brunches, the program will introduce the Trade & Industry Summit, a robust seminar series featuring winemakers, chefs, thought leaders, and cultural innovators exploring the future of food, beverage, sustainability, and hospitality.
Spanning four days in November, the 2026 event will balance exceptional wine and culinary experiences with spirits, mixology, and curated lifestyle programming. Guests will immerse themselves in Napa Valley’s finest food, wine, and cocktail culture through seated events, interactive tastings, and one-of-a-kind collaborations between lauded chefs, vintners, and mixologists.
