Wine Tasting Experiences
Perfect for Valentine’s Day, Priest Ranch Wines is bringing the ultimate Wine & Chocolate Experience to their Yountville tasting room. The chocolate and wine pairing brings together two remarkably handcrafted products from the Napa Valley - Priest Ranch wines and Kollar Chocolates. This tasting, which includes five wines and five chocolates, takes you through flavor journey that ends with an adult version of PB&J.
Throughout the month of February, Merryvale Vineyards is offering a special flight of Merryvale wines paired with Micaela Boreyko Chocolates. Advanced reservations are not required but highly encouraged.
Join Hess Collection February 14th-17th for a special Valentine’s Day experience. Following a guided tour of the Hess Collection, indulge in a current release wine tasting of four wines paired with artisan truffles developed and handcrafted in-house by Pastry Chef & Chocolatier, Linda Rodriguez. For couples who really want to show some heart and spread the love around, come to the Yao Family Wines Tasting Room in St. Helena on Valentine’s Day and purchase a $10 "Sharing Heart" to benefit the Special Olympics. Decorate your heart and hang it on the Wall of Love, and the winery will donate your $10 to the Special Olympics, as well as provide a complimentary pour of their 2016 Yao Ming Napa Valley Brut Sparkling Wine.
From Thursday, February 14 to Monday, February 18, Alpha Omega will include a complimentary Alpha Omega-branded chocolate from Woodhouse Chocolate in St. Helena to each guest during every private tasting experience so wine enthusiasts can enjoy the ecstasy of a chocolate and red wine pairing.
Feast it Forward is serving up an early Valentine’s Day treat. Romance your sweetie with Bubbles and Oysters, an intimate experience on Saturday, February 9th with Inman Family winemaker Kathleen Inman. Enjoy tastings of two different estate sparkling wines along with 6 Hog Island Oysters for $50. Reservations must be made in advance to enjoy the oysters, but guests are welcome to swing by anytime between 5 pm and 8 pm for a chat and a glass of bubbles.
Join La Toque for a decadent Valentine’s Day menu featuring a special Five-Course Tasting Menu for $150 per person. Optional wine pairings with the four savory courses will be an additional $80 per person.
Celebrate in style on February 16th at Hess Collection's Annual Feast of the Heart Dinner, a singular night of pairing the love of wine, food, and art with your special someone. You are invited to savor an opulent three course dinner created by Hess Executive Chef Chad Hendrickson complementing an array of limited release Hess Collection wines.
Tra Vigne Pizzeria is bringing back some favorites as Valentine's Day additions to their current delicious menu. Valentine's Day dinner offerings will include classic Tra Vigne dishes like Oysters on the Half Shell, Lobster Risotto and Braised Short Ribs with Three Cheese Polenta. For dessert, a Lover's Molten Chocolate Cake is sure to please. For this one night only, the Pizzeria will be accepting a limited number of reservations for parties of two.
The Très Romantique Package at Auberge du Soleil includes an evening with an outdoor candlelit bath for two, followed by a sensuous couples massage and dessert paired with wine. Then, under the stars, couples may enjoy a private soak in the three temperate pools and a restorative herbal Hamman steam. The next morning, indulge in the guilty pleasure of uninterrupted sleep and linger over breakfast for two served in-room or on the terrace of the resort’s Michelin Star Restaurant.
Milliken Creek’s Romance Uncorked Package includes two nights in a Deluxe or Luxury guestroom, an indulgent in-guestroom couples' aromatherapy massage, plus romance turndown with a bottle of sparkling wine, chocolate-covered strawberries, and candles. Breakfast for two each morning, a sunset wine and cheese reception, and complimentary late-night cordial bar are also included.
River Terrace Inn's Romance on the Rails Package includes elegant river-view accommodations, a bottle of local wine upon arrival, and two tickets for the Napa Valley Wine Train Gourmet Express Excursion, a three-mile journey through the Napa Valley.
