Napa Valley warmly welcomes LGBTQ+ travelers throughout the year, and especially in the month of June when there is a wide variety of events and attractions focused on LGBTQ+ guests. In addition to near-perfect weather, Napa Valley offers some of the best spots to eat and plenty of places to hang out and have a glass of wine or beer, enjoy outdoor concerts or theater, and the downtown Napa’s lively scene.

This June, the valley is rolling out the rainbow-colored carpet with several events and activities specially geared towards LGBTQ+ travelers and their allies. Grab a Tank Garage Winery Pride shirt or a rainbow cookie from Clif Family Winery’s Bruschetteria Truck in St. Helena before heading out to some of the events in the valley.

For LGBTQ+ Youth & Families

Interactive Youth Movie Night

Presented by the LGBTQ Connection and the Napa County Library, attendees can watch free movies together at Napa Valley libraries. Each attendee will get a goodie bag filled with fun props to engage with the movie. Napa County Library on June 2 and American Canyon on June 8.

Pride Rainbow Playdate at Fuller Park

June 5th at 12pm. Join LGBTQ and Ally families for their annual Pride Month Rainbow Play Date. All families, kids, genders, identities, and races are welcomed. The playdate includes a children’s parade as well as craft stations full of rainbow crafts and book giveaways.

America Canyon’s Pride Popup

June 18. An outdoor celebration with the local LGBTQ+ community. Park games, food vendors, and a free raffle, open to all!

Art & Music Events

Brandi Carlile at Oxbow River Stage

June 19 at 7pm. Presented by Blue Note Napa at the Oxbow River Stage, six-time GRAMMY award winner Brandi Carlisle will be presenting her “Beyond These Silent Days” headline tour. DJ Rotten Robbie will also be in attendance, accepting donations for LGBTQ Connection, a local community-driven nonprofit that fosters a more diverse and inclusive community.

Vinyl + Wine

June 24 at 5–7pm. In celebration of Pride Month, Carneros Resort and Spa will offer a fun spin on its popular Vinyl + Wine event with DJ Robbie Robb spinning an all vinyl set of music. Guests can peruse his music plus play bocce with wines and nibbles.

Chalk for Pride

June 25 at 10–11:30am. In collaboration with Napa Library and First 5’s Rainbow Action Network, emerging artists can create colorful chalk art around the library’s sidewalk to support the LGBTQ+ community.

The Look of Love at Blue Note Napa

June 30 at 7:30pm. Kellie Fuller teams up with the Mike Greensill Trio for an evening of memorable songs from the 1960s made famous by artists such as Dionne Warwick, Brasil 66, The Beatles, Barbra Streisand, Dusty Springfield and more, delivered by Kellie and Mike with their own style and flair. This special Blue Note evening of music coincides with National Give Out Day.

Celebrations

Pride Cruise Night

June 4 at 7–9pm. A fun event for everyone, celebrate Pride Month by decorating your car to show your Pride. Drive up and down Jefferson from Trancas St. to Downtown Napa. Prizes will be awarded for best decorated car and local radio station KVYN 99.3 FM (The Vine) will broadcast Pride music by DJ Rotten Robbie to blast in your car as you strut your rainbow deco. Afterwards, head to the Pride Cruise Night Afterparty at The Arbaretum, Napa Valley Distillery’s new location at the corner of First & Coombs in downtown Napa.

Pride Drag Brunch at Avow

June 26 at 11am. Sashay your way on over to the best Pride Drag Brunch Party, hosted by the one and only Mercury Rising and her amazing entourage. DJ Carl Jay will have all the jams playing for another unforgettable day celebrating that #LoveIsLove. Your experience includes a welcome glass of Steorra Sparkling and a three course brunch with menu created by Chef Dan Ziebell and his team. Portion of all proceeds will be donated to LGBTQ Connection Napa.

Dining Out at the Q

June 29 at 5–10pm. Check out the new location for The Q in downtown Napa where DJ Rotten Robbie will be spinning, with donations to benefit LGBTQ Connection Napa. Call the restaurant to make reservations.

Pride Dance at Blue Note Napa

June 22 at 6–9:30pm. Come out & dance at Napa’s premiere nightclub, Blue Note Napa. DJ Rotten Robbie will be spinning the Pride tunes all night long so grab your rainbow gear and your fancy footwear.

Summer Garden Party at Chandon

June 11 at 11am–3pm. This will be Chandon’s first Pride Weekend Celebration as they recognize the influence and contributions made by the LGBTQ+ community. The one-day event will feature a DJ, food and wine stations, lawn games, a photo booth, flower crown making, and an exhibition of artisans and local vendors from within the LGBTQ+ community. There’s even a puppy cuddling session from 11:30-1:30pm (careful, you might fall in love and they’re all adoptable).
