A characteristic brightness that animates every bottle, reflecting both the cool climate and the joy with which the family approaches their work.

Grgich Hills Estate

Regional Winner – Sustainable Wine Tourism Experiences
Recognized as a winery that has implemented environmental practices and sustainable innovations and developments in the vineyards, winery, and visitor experience. With Napa Valley as Grgich Hills‘ backyard, the enviable variety of soils and microclimates provide their Napa vineyards with the best possible conditions to produce the highest quality fruit. As Miljenko “Mike” Grgich and Ivo Jeramaz say, “great wines begin in the vineyard.” Growing high-quality fruit is a crucial step in the winemaking process. The advantages of organic and regenerative farming range from benefits to human health, to protecting the environment, and the welfare of natural ecosystems.

“We want to make truly authentic wines that resemble their birthplace. We do that by owning all of our organically-certified vineyards and by practicing the most progressive and effective farming method – regenerative agriculture. ‘Sustainability’ is only continuing to do what you’ve always done, whereas ‘regeneration’ actually brings soil back to life.” stated Violet Grgich.

Oakville Grocery & Wine Merchant’s commitment to excellence extends beyond the glass and table, with their knowledgeable and charismatic team members, aiding in the creation of lasting memories and unforgettable moments to be shared with friends and family.
