Visit Napa Valley is proud to share that it is the first Welcome Center in California to implement fully interactive digital information kiosks from True Omni, an omnichannel marketing hardware and software provider.

Assisting more than 100,000 visitors annually in its 2,500 square-foot location in the heart of downtown Napa, Visit Napa Valley’s Napa Valley Welcome Center combines a high-tech approach with a friendly, professional staff to provide complimentary concierge services to visitors and residents looking to explore the best of Napa Valley.

“In November 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, we opened our new Napa Valley Welcome Center in the First Street Napa complex,” explained Linsey Gallagher, President & CEO of Visit Napa Valley. “It became immediately clear to us that visitors still valued the hands-on and expert advice from our professional concierge staff, but also wanted to actively manage their own itinerary. These new kiosks offer our guests the best of both worlds - a high-touch, in-person experience combined with the ease of technology at their fingertips.”

Responding to current trends, Visit Napa Valley has installed three state-of-the-art interactive digital kiosks. The digital touch screens lead guests to discover the breadth of activities available in the Napa Valley through a series of prompts expertly designed to deliver personalized experiences for each guest. Integrated with popular reservations systems, such as Tock, CellarPass, Resy, and OpenTable, the kiosks allow easy visibility of available reservations and offer the option of real-time bookings. Guests may opt for an itinerary QR Code to download their personalized itineraries to their own phones and explore interactive maps of the Napa Valley region. Populated by the same powerful customer relationship manager (CRM) that manages Visit Napa Valley’s robust website, business listings are updated in real time. The kiosks also provide a bit of “surprise and delight” with a digital photo booth feature complete with iconic Napa Valley backgrounds and digital picture frames to commemorate a visitor’s Napa Valley experience.

In addition to the high-tech additions to the Napa Valley Welcome Center, a professional team of knowledgeable staff bring high-touch concierge services to the center. Open daily, the helpful team guides visitors and residents alike to explore the breadth and depth of the entire Napa Valley, including the towns of Calistoga, St. Helena, Yountville, Napa, and American Canyon.

“We like to say we help visitors explore our beautiful destination better,” said Gallagher. “Armed with detailed information from our helpful staff and reservations for their chosen experience, visitors can enjoy Napa Valley to its fullest.”

The Napa Valley Welcome Center is located at 1300 First Street, Suite 313, in the First Street Napa complex in the heart of downtown Napa. Open daily 9:30 a.m. – 6 p.m., the Napa Valley Welcome Center also offers complimentary Wi-Fi and an expertly curated mercantile shop featuring locally-sourced gifts.
