The Corner Napa restaurant and bar opened in downtown Napa on July 22, 2016. The restaurant features a large, well appointed wine list, craft cocktails, and more than 200 whiskeys. The new American cuisine is technique driven and features local producers.

The Kitchen Collective is an exclusive cooking club that is scheduled to open November 1, 2016 in downtown Napa. Kenzo Tsujimoto will open his authentic Japanese sushi restaurant in downtown Napa on November 16, 2016. The restaurant will feature a fixed menu for Kaiseki and sushi featuring fresh fish delivered from world-renowned Tsukiji Fish Market in Tokyo, paired with wines from Kenzo Estate along with an array of Japanese sakes.

The Charter Oak, an elemental restaurant by Chef Christopher Kostow and Nathaniel Dorn of the Michelin-three starred Restaurant at Meadowood, will open in St. Helena in early 2017. The Charter Oak will be centered on a celebratory and casual dining experience.

Charlie Palmer Steak by Chef Charlie Palmer (owner of Harvest Inn and Harvest Table in St. Helena) will open at the upcoming Archer Hotel in downtown Napa in spring 2017. Palmer and team will also oversee the culinary direction of the rooftop bar, poolside and in-room dining, as well as private events for the Archer Hotel.

Freemark Abbey, which has been in its original location since 1886, completed an extensive renovation on July 9, 2016. The reimagined historic winery building now offers a variety of educational visitor experiences, all encompassed in a two-story layout with a striking interior design, as well as a revamped patio courtyard. The refreshed estate also includes the brand-new restaurant, Two Birds One Stone, a California-inspired yakitori restaurant by chefs Douglas Keane and Sang Yoon.

Stewart Cellars’ new tasting salon and café opened in Yountville on August 29, 2016. Arcanum Architecture designed the space and Ken Fulk designed the interior. Gather Café is a fast, casual eatery that features culinary offerings including a fresh juice of the day, greens, grains and breakfast.

Liana Estates, from the family behind Peju Province Winery opened on October 1, 2016 in the Carneros region in southern Napa. Blue Note Napa will open on October 25, 2016, offering live music seven days a week in downtown Napa. Occupying the first floor of the historic Napa Valley Opera House, the jazz club will present national and international artists, along with Bay Area and regional favorites, paired with the region’s finest wines, craft brews, cuisine, and classic cocktails. Blue Note Napa will also present musical headliners of all genres in the Opera House’s second-floor ballroom.

Archer Hotel Napa, a new-build hotel in the heart of downtown Napa, is set to open in spring 2017. The hotel will feature 143-rooms and 40 balcony-clad suites spanning five stories and a sweeping 360-degree view of Napa Valley from its expansive rooftop.
