Silverado Resort & Spa in Napa opened their new market, Silverado Market and Bakery, in February 2016. The new market offers baked goods from Yountville’s renowned Bouchon Bakery and English muffins from Model Bakery in Napa. Locally crafted wine and beer, cheeses and charcuterie, Three Twins Ice Cream and a host of other locally produced goods are also available.

The Carneros Inn in Napa has completed various renovations to their family pool, the Wedding Garden and the guest entry. These enhancements include an elevated deck with a shade trellis and new padded lounges throughout the Family Pool area. The Wedding Garden, the property’s main wedding site, has undergone a $1 million renovation that includes a beautifully planted trellis, a stunning water feature and new lush floral bushes to define the space. The Carneros Inn also features a new guest reception building and property entrance. Additionally, 40 cottages will receive enhancements that include a new color palette, bathroom renovation with new heated tile flooring, counter-tops, bathroom fixtures, and soaking tubs.  The first phase was completed in April 2016, with the remaining cottages completed in 2017. The Hilltop Pool will feature an expanded deck for additional lounge furniture, along with eight private cabanas with vineyard views.

Meadowood Napa Valley in St. Helena opened their new 14,000-square-foot, all suite spa in November 2015. The new spa, designed by renowned architect Howard Backen and his team at Backen, Gillam & Kroeger, features eight treatment suites, each offering forest views and a private environment for relaxation. Each spa suite also features a private bathroom, steam shower and daybed. Meadowood’s Director of Spa & Wellness Michael Conte leads the team in giving guests a true sense of retreat and privacy with a Spa menu designed to elevate the entire spa experience and highlight the spa suites.

Spa Solage in Calistoga reopened in early May 2015 upon the completion of a $1.2 million renovation, including their six-time Michelin star-rated Solbar restaurant. The expansion added more than 3,000 square feet to the reception building and a co-ed relaxation room. Other enhancements include two new outdoor showers and 56 additional lockers in both the men’s and ladies’ locker rooms, along with refurbishments to the boutique areas. The vision for both interior spaces was designed by Shirley Robinson, principal of Robinson Finishes, a San Francisco-based interior design company. Hampton Inn & Suites opened a Napa location on March 9, 2016. Auberge Resorts Collection will break ground in 2016 on VieVage Napa Valley, a new destination resort in the Carneros district, which is slated to open in 2018 as the second resort from Auberge’s new VieVage Hotels and Resorts lifestyle brand.
