Gather your wish list for everything food- and wine-related, and come prepared to shop! The Marketplace is stocked with cookware, bakeware, kitchen tools and utensils, items for kids, gourmet foods, and more than 1,700 cookbook titles. Purchase our housemade chocolates and watch our baking and pastry arts degree students in action in the Ghirardelli Chocolate Discovery Center next door.
While in the store, be sure to visit the Tasting Bar and the Bakery Cafe by illy.

Enjoy a public tour of the CIA’s historic Greystone building and grounds in St. Helena!

Greystone Experience
$25 per person, children 12 and under are free. Includes a 30-minute tour of Greystone, one lunch entrée from The CIA Bakery Café by illy, one glass of wine from the Tasting Bar, and a 10% discount in the Spice Islands® Marketplace. Daily, 11:30 a.m.

Greystone Tour
$10 per person, children 12 and under are free. Includes a 30-minute tour of Greystone and a 10% discount in the Spice Islands Marketplace. Daily, 11:30 a.m.; Saturdays and Sundays, 3:15 p.m.

Wine Tasting at CIA Greystone
Explore the world of wine at Greystone’s Tasting Bar, with interesting topics like sparkling wine; pairing wine with chocolate, cheese, and olive oil; and wine tasting techniques. Or visit the Tasting Bar for a glass of Greystone Cellars wine, a beer, or cider. Hours: winter: 11 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; summer: 11 a.m.–5:30 p.m.

This cozy cafe features a menu of delicious pastries, cookies, soups, salads, sandwiches, and sides made by our baking & pastry arts students and faculty. Open daily 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
