Experiencing the vineyards from the seat of a bicycle is undoubtedly one of the most fun things to do while visiting Napa Valley! As you pedal past rows of vineyards, you’ll enjoy a sensory experience that simply cannot be duplicated inside a car, tour van or limo.
Your tour group will be hosted by a local, knowledgeable Tour Guide who’s there to enhance your education of the “vineyard-to-bottle” process. Before you get rolling, your Tour Guide will ensure that you’re completely comfortable with the fit and handling of your bike. And within the first mile or so, you’ll find the pace of our guided bike tours is definitely catered to casual riders, not cyclists.
You’ll pedal an average of 3-6 miles between stops at local wineries and tasting rooms. With a casual pace and frequent stops, the emphasis is on enjoying the scenery and discovering great locally made wines along the way.
The Half-Day Bike Tour visits two wineries and conclude close to 2:00pm, leaving the rest of your day free to visit another winery on your own or head back to the hotel to relax by the pool. Or, opt for a Full-Day Bike Tour that includes a delicious wine country picnic served at a local winery followed by a third wine tasting stop in the afternoon before concluding back in Yountville close to 4:00pm.
