In our Sauces class we will make restaurant-quality sauces and learn the necessary skills to execute amazing dishes at home. Students will prepare many of the French “mother sauces” and understand how to balance richness, acidity, intensity and refinement.
Understand how to make everything from perfectly balanced vinaigrettes and mayonnaise, to pan sauces and béchamel for amazing homemade macaroni and cheese. We will also explore plating and how to serve sauces in a variety of dishes.
