The brilliant young South Korean guitarist Jiji, who plays a wide range of classical, contemporary and freely improvised music on acoustic and electric guitar, has wowed audiences and critics with the power and grace of her playing. Winner of the 2016 Concert Artists Guild International Competition, the guitarist, whom The Kansas City Star praised for an “intimate, captivating performance,” graduated from the prestigious Curtis Institute of Music and is now in the master’s program at Yale.
