Cooking Class – Farmers Mkt Tour and Class - Seafood
We start at the Farmers’ Market to select the fresh seafood and produce from the local vendors . In the hands-on class you will learn tips and techniques for preparing seafood. This class will focus on making some classic recipes using a variety of seasonal seafood available. The menu may begin with a Dungeness Crab Cakes served with Spicy Remoulade; for our main course we may prepare a hearty seafood stew such as Cioppino or perhaps a Seafood Jambalaya or Paella. We wrap up our feast with a soul-satisfying dessert such as Buttermilk Panna Cotta or Spiced Fruit Galette with Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream.
Includes recipe handouts, meals prepared and wine/beverage served with the meal. Max 8 students so you are sure to have personalized instruction.
