Farmers Market Tour and Cooking Class - Soups and Stocks
Add a hands-on cooking class experience to your Wine Country getaway and take home some great new recipes. We begin at the Farmers’ Market to select fresh offerings for our seasonal menu. In this session we focus on the basic techniques of making stocks such as Vegetable or Chicken. Then we will use the stock to prepare soul-warming soups. Our menu will include dishes like White Bean, Kale and Roasted Garlic Soup accompanied with Herbed Polenta and finish off with Spiced Fruit Crisp and Vanilla Cream..Join us and add some great new flavors to your repetoire.
Includes recipe handouts, multi-course meal prepared by the class and wine/beverage served with the meal. Max 8 students so you are sure to have personalized instruction.
