Food and Wine Experiences
Round Pond Estate – Il Pranzo
Enjoy an afternoon at Round Pond with an estate garden tour followed by a guided tasting of their olive oils, red wine vinegars and estate wines all while enjoying the beautiful view from their terrace. The tasting is accompanied by local cheeses, meats and breads and other accouterments, as well as the season’s freshest fruits and vegetables right from their gardens. 160 minutes, $120 per person.
Signorello Estate – Enoteca
Taste your way through a private and intimate food and wine pairing exploration in Signorello’s indoor tasting area. Enjoy their current and reserve wines paired with a four-course Italian inspired meal. The highlight: Snake River Farms Kobe Wagyu beef that pairs perfectly with their Cabernet Sauvignon. 120 minutes, $175 per person.
Long Meadow Ranch – Chef’s Table
Enjoy a private seat in the Logan-Ives House with a multi-course meal created by their Estate Chef Timothy Mosblech, paired with LMR wines. Sample their olive oils followed by some one on one time with the chef and a perfectly paired meal and wine. Lunch is $95 per person and dinner is $125 per person.
Robert Mondavi Winery – Harvests of Joy
Take a tour the winery, followed by a three-course lunch paired with signature wines in their Vineyard Room. Enjoy dishes prepared by their winery chef while viewing the picturesque To Kalon Vineyard and neighboring Mayacamas Mountains. 150 minutes, $115 per person.
Merryvale Vineyards – Butler Program
Beat the line at the original St. Helena location of Gott’s Roadside and have a majordomo fetch your fries and burger fresh from across the street. Select a burger to order from Gott’s menu along with their signature French fries or onion rings. The meal is paired with three of the estate’s wines, two of which will be barrel tastings not yet released. $65 per person, with a two-person minimum.
B Cellars – Chef’s Garden Pairing
Weather permitting, enjoy a five-course tasting menu plus a cheese/jam/chocolate assortment perfectly paired with their wines. Enjoy this outside in the beautiful gardens where a lot of the produce is grown. 120 minutes, $125 per person.
Cooking Classes
Cakebread Cellars
Offers cooking classes throughout the year in their onsite kitchen. All classes are participation style and include a tour of the property, a tasting of Cakebread Cellars wines (except for the children’s classes), the cooking class and a three-course lunch paired with wine. All participants leave with a Cakebread Cellars logo apron, a booklet of the recipes and wine notes from the day. Price varies on class chosen.
Whitehall Lane
Every Friday and Saturday Whitehall Lane offers cooking classes for lunch. You will learn to prepare an incredible lunch and then you will dine on your creations that are expertly paired with their wines. 120 minutes, $125 per person.
Delis/Restaurants/Foodtrucks
V. Sattui Winery’s deli has a selection of sandwiches, salads, and pasta dishes are made in-house daily. They also have a cheese counter with over 200 cheeses from around the world. On the weekends when the weather permits, they have a huge BBQ that includes wood-fires pizzas. Enjoy this all outside on their picnic tables or bring a blanket to sit on the grass.
Charles Krug Winery’s Cucina di Rosa features sandwiches, salads, antipasti, and other sweet and savory sides. Reserve a picnic table and enjoy wines by the glass with your lunch.
