As harvest approaches, the inevitable happens: More and more visitors want to come to the Napa Valley to sip our wines, taste our cuisine, admire our views, and enjoy the wine-country lifestyle.
If you can get the time off work or finagle another escape plan, now’s the time to come to the valley Sunday through Thursday. Hotels from Napa to Calistoga are offering special packages and incentives, besides the fact that you’ll have more room to experience the Napa Valley all to yourselves. Be sure to contact the hotel directly for details and possible black-out dates.
La Belle Epoque Bed & Breakfast Inn, Napa. Offers a discounted midweek two-night stay with Champagne upon arrival and a formal afternoon tea in the garden, including specially blended hot or iced teas, tea sandwiches, freshly baked scones with homemade jam, and petite desserts. To reserve the special package rate of $530, call La Belle Epoque and mention “Tea In The Garden.” Good through September 29.
Napa River Inn & Historic Napa Mill, Napa. The Inn’s summer midweek package includes 20% off best midweek rates available, 20% off services at the spa, and breakfast served in your room. Offered June 1 through July 28, not valid during 4th of July.
Candlelight Inn Napa Valley, Napa. The Candlelight Junction Package combines the romance of a gourmet lunch aboard The Napa Valley Wine Train (alcohol and gratuity not included) and a Napa winery tour, including lunch, with Playtpus Wine Tours. The price of the Junction Package is $425 per couple and does not include accommodations.
SENZA Hotel, Napa. The Romance & Rejuvenation package includes two nights accommodations, a chilled bottle of sparkling wine and chocolate covered strawberries in your room, and a one-hour couple’s massage. Or, when you book two nights midweek between now and August, you’ll receive the third night at 50% off.
Silverado Resort and Spa, Napa. Its Wine Country Getaway Package is valid through August 31 and includes 25% off best available rates for overnight accommodations and one 2-for-1 Winery Tasting Pass per stay. Want to get away for longer? Stay two or more nights and receive the above, plus a $50 resort credit per stay. If you can arrive on Sunday, try the Sunday Funday package: overnight accommodations, breakfast for two each morning in The Grill, free golf after 2pm on Sunday, 20% off at the Spa on Sunday, and late check-out at 1pm (based on availability).
Bardessono Hotel & Spa, Yountville. The Midweek Escape Spa Package include luxurious overnight suite accommodations, a $200 spa credit to be used in the spa or in-suite, and a $50 daily food and beverage credit.
North Block Hotel, Yountville. Its Wine & Dine Package includes accommodations in a Deluxe King room (double occupancy), breakfast for two and a $100 credit at Redd Wood, a bottle of Napa Valley wine. Pricing starts at $550/night through June 30, 2016. The Petals & Pampering Package includes accommodations in a Deluxe King room (double occupancy), a bottle of Chandon sparkling wine, turndown service with a dozen roses, two 60-minute Playful Passion massages, complete with a sensual box of goodies, a DIY exfoliating scrub to share in the shower, and a box of locally made Kollar artisan chocolates. Pricing starts at $800/night.
