February 25, 2020, Napa, CA -- The Napa Valley is home to more Michelin Stars, AAA Diamonds and Forbes Travel Guide Stars than any other wine region in the U.S. The legendary wine region boasts a total of 10 Michelin Stars for its restaurants; and 58 AAA Diamonds and 66 Forbes Travel Guide Stars for its restaurants, lodging properties and resort spas.

Michelin Stars
As the trusted source for gastronomy lovers worldwide for more than 120 years, Michelin publishes 32 Guides annually in more than two dozen countries, including four guides in the U.S. Michelin awards one to three stars to restaurants they perceive to be of high culinary merit. One star indicates a "very good restaurant;" two stars indicate a place "worth a detour;" three stars means "exceptional cuisine, worth a special journey."

Forbes Travel Guide professional inspectors travel the world to assess hotels, restaurants, and spas based on 900 objective standards that determine their annual star ratings. They anonymously visit every establishment that they rate.
