While the Napa Valley may be best known for its wineries and restaurants, based on Visit Napa Valley’s most recent 2018 Visitor Profile Study, “bars and nightlife” rank as one of the top ten visitor experiences in the region. Now, the legendary Napa Valley experience extends well past the last wine tasting appointment or dessert course. Below is a suggested list of late-night experiences in Napa, Yountville, St. Helena, and Calistoga:
Andaz Napa presents Andaz Artists, a rotating roster of musicians (mainly acoustic guitarists) from the Bay Area that play in either the Mercantile Social or the Lobby Lounge every Wednesday and Saturday 8 to 11 p.m. These musical artists play a collection of covers as well as original songs.

Blue Note Napa presents national and international artists, along with Bay Area and regional favorites, paired with Napa Valley wine and craft brews, seasonally inspired cuisine, and classic cocktails on the first floor of the historic Napa Valley Opera House. Located in downtown Napa, Blue Note Napa offers two shows nightly at 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. and is open Tuesday through Sunday 5 p.m. to closing, depending on the show.

Ca’ Momi Osteria presents Osteria Live on Friday and Saturday evenings starting at 10 p.m. The show offers regional and national acts, predominantly acoustic, paired with Ca’ Momi’s late night dining menu. Osteria Live presents La Notte Latina, featuring DJ Jose Miguel the first and third Friday of every month, which features the rhythms of salsa, cumbia, and merengue traditions.

Cadet Wine Bar offers a late-night option to celebrate the world of wines and beer created by producers from California and beyond. Cadet is open until 1 a.m. weeknights and 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights, and offers a vast selection of music on classic vinyl.

Crush Lounge at Meritage Resort & Spa offers cocktails, sports entertainment, snacks and six lanes of bowling all in one place. Crush is open until midnight Friday and Saturday nights, until 10 p.m. on Sundays, and 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Carneros Resort and Spa offers an evening summer programming at FARM Pavilion and Town Square every Sunday through Friday 5 to 8 p.m., featuring rotating activations, complete with pre-batched cocktails and local craft beer, served alongside a raw bar and extended Pavilion menu. On the first Friday of each month, guests may relive the nostalgic sound of crackling vinyl with the resort’s Vinyl & Wine series featuring live entertainment from Justin Diaz and Jack Pollard’s Party of Three. Downtown Napa debuts a new outdoor, 4,000-capacity concert venue, Oxbow RiverStage. The festival-style venue is located at the Oxbow Commons, adjacent to the popular Oxbow Market and its many eateries. The venue presents a mix of ticketed shows featuring nationally-recognized artists and free shows featuring local musicians, with some shows being seated or standing, or a combination of both based on the performance and genre.
