American Canyon

The City of American Canyon hosts an annual holiday parade, tree lighting, and marketplace Dec. 6, 2019 at Shenandoah Park, located at 100 Sonoma Creek Way. The festivities include a special appearance by Santa and carriage rides. The marketplace is hosted by the American Canyon Chamber of Commerce.

The City of American Canyon also invites guests to a Snow Day Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019 from noon to 5 p.m. in Shenandoah Park. The park will be transformed to include a snow play area, themed villages, a giant slide and train rides.

Transforming the Napa Valley Wine Train into an enchanting holiday journey, the Santa Train is an interactive musical adventure featuring games, sing-alongs, and a cast of holiday-inspired characters, along with hot cocoa and freshly baked cookies. After being greeted by elf and fairy friends at the train’s downtown Napa train station, guests of the Santa Train will board and embark on a journey to Santa’s workshop in the North Pole with the conductor. Napa’s 56th Annual Christmas Parade is Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019, at 5 p.m. in downtown Napa. The parade begins and ends at Second and Third streets. Since becoming an evening parade, locals have creatively decorated parade entries, including cars, horses and even children, with bright, festive lights. Following the parade, Santa Claus will be in the “Big Chair on the Riverfront” to hear Christmas wishes.
