Since 1969 - Small Winery, Big Reputation. Located in the heart of the valley floor between Napa and Yountville on Big Ranch Rd just off of Oak Knoll Avenue between Silverado Trail and HWY 29, guests are invited to walk-in and taste their outstanding wines at the cozy tasting room in the winery building or in the ambiance of the Jefferson House Reserve Room and Library for sit-down ‘Reserve Tastings’. Known for their Corley Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, the Corley Family’s estate grown wines include Pinot Noir, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Franc and CORLEY Proprietary Red Wine. At Monticello Vineyards, a hands-on, family-oriented approach guides every step of the process. Three of founder Jay Corley’s sons, Kevin, Chris, and Stephen, share responsibility for the winery as the winegrower, winemaker, and sales and marketing director, respectively. This aptly reflects their philosophy of “sunshine to wine.” As Stephen explains, “It helps that we’re small enough and passionate enough to walk every vineyard row, taste every wine, and talk to most every customer.” Bearing three designations — Monticello Vineyards, Corley, and Corley Reserve — the wines have received accolades and 90+ point ratings from publications like The Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, and Wine & Spirits magazines, been served in the White House and to Academy Award winners.
